Long Island Janitorial Return Policy

Returns of all merchandise to Long Island Janitorial are subject to the terms and conditions detailed in our Return Policy.  Please make sure to review this Return Policy carefully prior to placing your order.

The Return Process:

Step 1 -- Let Us Know:
Call, e-mail, or fax details of the situation to us.  The faster we know the details, the easier it is for us to resolve issues quickly.

Step 2 -- Get Return Authorization Number:
Unless otherwise instructed by a member of our team, all returns must be accompanied by an authorization number provided by us.  Product being returned must be received by us within 14 days of authorization.

Step 3: Process Return of Product:
Upon receipt (and at our sole discretion), credit may be issued in the form of a credit posted to your account or replacement product (s).

Our Mistake:
In other words, we shipped the wrong item. Replacement or 100% credit will be issued on returns of product(s) shipped in error by us.  Please notify us of any error within twenty-four (24) hours after receipt of the order.  Long Island Janitorial will be responsible for all shipping and/or replacement costs related to the return.

Your Mistake:
In other words, you ordered the wrong item.  100% credit will be issued (less a 20% restocking charge) for the return of products ordered in error by you.  You must notify us of the error within twenty-four (24) hours after receipt of the order.   You will be responsible for all shipping costs related to the return.  Waiver of restocking charges is at our sole discretion.

Price Increases / Decreases:
Prices on all items are subject to change without notice.  The credit amount reflects your purchase price – Not prevailing prices at the time of the return.

Return Authorization Number: 
Always required.  Returns not accompanied by a Return Authorization Number will be subject to rejection at our sole and exclusive discretion.

Product Not Eligible For Return:

Returns of custom, used, opened, or damaged product will be rejected at our sole discretion.

Other products not eligible for return include discontinued products, custom products, products not in original packaging, opened products, products that have been marked, disfigured, or appear used, and products damaged in any way (including but limited to water, fire, improper handling, etc).

Products that are not in satisfactory condition (at our sole discretion) will be rejected.

Return Address:

If being shipped: We will advise the shipping address to which the authorized goods should be returned.

If being dropped off at our Hauppauge warehouse: We will advise when and where authorized good should be returned.  We are generally available to accept returns Monday-Friday during normal business hours.
